Surface-mount temperature sensors are specifically designed for measuring temperatures on solid surfaces. They utilize a variety of temperature-sensing cores, including high-precision platinum resistance thermometers, thermocouples, and digital chips, and are categorized into two main types: integrated transmitter models and bare probe models.The probe features a flat metal patch design that can be securely bonded to equipment surfaces using high-temperature adhesive or aluminum foil tape, providing a large contact area and rapid heat transfer. The integrated models incorporate a sealed signal conversion module capable of directly outputting standard industrial signals, making them compatible with PLCs and data acquisition terminals for remote temperature measurement. They are widely used in surface temperature measurement applications across new energy, meteorology, industrial pipelines, and scientific research.
